Spring Has Sprung!

Spring is here! (Well, officially, at least! There's still snow where we are...)

And with it, comes the opportunity to do some fun crafts with our kids to welcome the warmer weather. Have I ever mentioned that I love Pinterest? ;) I have found some amazing ideas while browsing this (very) addictive site and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

Paper Art (shown below; inspired by Eric Carle's The Tiny Seed) - from Love and Lollipops

Twig Letters - Personalized Name Art Craft - from Parenting.com

Owl Rocks - from Parenting.com

Paper Tulips (great for preschoolers!) - from Easy Child Crafts

Toilet Paper Roll Butterflies - from BoBunny

And, if you need some yummy treats to go along with your crafting, try these oh-so-Spring-y Mini-Egg Cheesecake Bars from Buttercream Blondie!

Keep the Kids Busy - Spring Break Activities for Every Age

Spring Break is one of those times of the year that kids love and parents fear. Don’t get me wrong - it’s wonderful to spend time with the kids. But if you’re ill prepared, the week can quickly spiral into boredom oblivion, no matter how many toys your kids have.

We’ve compiled some fabulously fun activities from the web to keep kids of all ages entertained and inspired.

And, if you’re lucky enough to be heading somewhere warm for Spring Break (I’m jealous!), some of these will even work as travel activities.
