We’ve compiled some fabulously fun activities from the web to keep kids of all ages entertained and inspired.
And, if you’re lucky enough to be heading somewhere warm for Spring Break (I’m jealous!), some of these will even work as travel activities.
All Ages:
- DIY Lego Travel Box (shown at right) – this idea is GENIUS!! I will be trying this one out for my kids’ vast Lego and Playmobil collections.

- Bug Tic Tac Toe – this activity does double duty as a craft and a game, and it can be modified to suit almost any age. If you’ve got older kids, they could decorate the rocks with superhero logos, cupcakes… anything they like.
Preschoolers:

- Water Bottle Bubbles
- In case it rains… Rainy Day Splatter Painting (shown at right)
Older Children:
- Mini Bows & Arrows – some adult assistance required
- Construct a Marble Run or Marble Maze (shown below)
