"A Picture is worth a thousand words"

According to Wikipedia, the adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" is a proverb popularly attributed to Confucius, however it's believed that the modern author of the phrase was Fred R. Barnyard who used it to promote the use of images in advertisements. The phrase refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also aptly characterizes one of the main goals of visualization - making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly.

Now, with our Photo Labels, you can capture the attention of friends and family for less. It’s worth a thousand words (or 8 for $9.99)!

The Ides of March!

According to Wikipedia, “The Ides of March” is the name of 15 March in the Roman calendar. In modern times, many North American families will celebrate “March Break” in the coming weeks.

All of us here at Oliver’s Labels are working hard to make sure your family receives their labels before your children go off to March Break camp.

If you are instead taking time off to be with your children, don’t forget that many local restaurants and attractions offer family and March Break deals.

For those of you who will travel for rest or play or to visit family afar, we wish you Bon Voyage!

Wishing you happy family days and cozy winter’s end nights,
